We are looking for suggestions on a gun for abrasive media blasting.
Currently we are using medium crushed glass and a generic gun from Northern Tool. The blasting cabinet is identical to those available from the usual industrial suppliers.
We are having a hard time getting the media to continuously feed into the gun. We have to constantly adjust the pick up tube. We have tried a few different media types, all with similar results.
The application is for removing frayed woodgrain from finely engraved patterns in wood while also giving a slight weathered look.
Also if you have any knowledge on media types, air pressure, flow rate, or just what has worked well for you, please do share! |
