I would love to hear about your ownership experience once you have had it for a while and completed a maintenance/cleanout cycle. I am also interested in what size of booth you decided on and the type of product you are spraying.

Thankyou Alika, we are investing in water curtain type paint booth. It solves our purpose of non-clogging of filters and good air flow.

Best regards,
:)

Hi Sharad, I spoke with a manufacturer of spray booths at the AWFS (Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers) trade show in Atlanta a few years back about water curtain filtration vs air filters. The biggest advantages to water are that it does not clog up so you have constant airflow and you can clean it out without stopping production. You do need to treat the water with chemicals and maintain it that way, kind of like a pool. You also now have a water pump to maintain in addition to the exhaust fan. My takeaway from the conversation was that water curtain filtration is geared toward higher production levels like an assembly line.

I intend to purchase water curtain paint booth. I heard it is better in terms of efficiency as you get constant airflow and easy to maintain. Does anyone have experience using water curtain paint booth? I am worried that water might spill over the parts. Is it better compared to air filter paint booth.

Regards,
Sharad
