Getting ready to do a repeat job that involves attaching pieces of 6061 aluminum together. The last time that we did this, we used a cartridge based methacrylate adhesive. I'm wondering if the Black Max will hold aluminum together in the same manner as steel. The metal frames of the models are 25" and 42" in length, 5" wide, and 1" high.

They say it can't be done, but they say lots of things. Happily, Bob Schneider, whose title may as well be Model Making Scientist, did some experimentation so you don't have to try and fail. The attached is a table of different glues he tried and what the results were.
