Here's a Q&A from the MILE about cutting acrylic with a laser. I'm just going to have to assume the units are unambiguous.
Can anyone give me baseline settings for vector cutting .125 acrylic on a 60 Watt universal laser (or close to that)? Thanks, Charles
We have a 50 Watt Universal. Here are the vector cut settings that we
have used without too much trouble
Material..........Power.....Speed
.060" acrylic.....44........4.5
.090" acrylic.....49........2.9
.120" acrylic.....49........2.0
.180" acrylic.....82........1.3
Your tube is more powerful than ours, so your settings could vary.
