Its a "persistent ruler." If you accidentially hit "R" on your keyboard, it brings up measuring devices. Try placing the haptic on one or the other of the balls at the end and press Delete.

Now that you know what its called, you should be able to access further information through the Help menu

Hello,

I just joined the group. I was using the Freeform modeling software, version 9.1, 32 bit edition (from Sensable) today and I got a bar as shown in the attached picture. What is this bar? How can I remove it? I haven’t used the software for quite some time now.
