Jenny, Thank you for the question and I have been remiss with an announcement about that. The board decided to create the new page for the organization so that we can post as the APMM vs. individuals within a group. This new business page gives a voice to the organization itself and lets us identify board members, to promote us as a professional organization. Now the APMM can post about events and meet-ups under its own banner and can be followed like any other organization. We have posted into the APMM LinkedIn group to get people to follow the new page and we know that it will be slow gaining followers but we, as the board, think that it is the better option. I am hoping that everyone reading this will follow the APMM company page now (https://www.linkedin.com/company/association-of-professional-model-makers/). We are a voluntary board and are trying to choose the best course to attract new members and vendors. If you have any suggestions or comments please reach out to me, the VP of Membership, at [email protected] or give me a call at (617)784-7909 and I would be happy to discuss it. Anyone who is interested in helping with these efforts please contact me and volunteer to lend a hand. It takes a village to make this organization thrive and the more hands we have, the more we can do. Thank you.

What's the difference between https://www.linkedin.com/groups/123934/ and https://www.linkedin.com/company/association-of-professional-model-makers/?

One has 1600+ members, and no recent posts. The other has 47 members and is where recent posts are happening.
